PLay Skills in the Park

June 29 - July 3

9am to 4pm (Drop off 8:30am, Pick up 4:30pm)

Full Day $185

From June 29 -July 3, children ages 6 to 9 can register for PLay Skills in the Park, with Regional Parks as a backdrop for fun, with a camp full of nature exploration, play and activities. This camp is designed to support the development of fundamental movement skills such as throwing, catching, running and jumping. With these skills, kids have a foundation to explore and enjoy different sports and physical activities for life. Mornings are dedicated to action-packed sessions, with a focus on the ABC’s of physical literacy: Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed. In the afternoons, your children will become nature detectives, discovering park trails and ponds, making new friends, and growing a life-long interest in the wild world.

You may register for this program in person at the EECO in Mission Creek Regional Park (Springfield and Durnin Roads) or by contacting the EECO at 250-469-6140.

For more information or to register, check out ‘Your Guide to Regional Parks’; go online to regionaldistrict.com/parksevents or contact the EECO.
