Making Ethical Decisions (Online Delivery)

By successfully completing the Make Ethical Decisions (MED) training, coaches will be fully equipped to handle ethical situations with confidence and surety. MED training helps coaches identify the legal, ethical, and moral implications of difficult situations that present themselves in the world of team and individual sport.

MED training is a cornerstone of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and leaves coaches with no doubt as to what to do when the going gets tough.

Upon completing the MED training you'll be able to:
- Analyze a challenging situation and determine if it has moral, legal or ethical implications
- Apply the NCCP Ethical Decision-Making Model to properly respond to each situation in a way that is consistent with the NCCP Code of Ethics

***For the months of July and August, we are adapting to public health restrictions and offering virtual coach training through online learning – coaches will receive full NCCP credits, as you would for in-person training.

These NCCP courses are live, facilitator-led, interactive, group-based course offered online through Adobe Connect. To participate in an Online Delivery course, you must have a working microphone and speakers as well as reliable access to the internet (Dial-up or High Speed).
